Our Team

KDC is proud of the consistent quality provided by our dedicated dental and support staff.

simon-webSimon Leith, BDS

Simon Leith completed his Dental Degree at Otago University in 2003, then spent two years at Hutt Valley Hospital helping specialists treating complex cases. He learned a variety of extra skills in oral surgery, prosthetic rehabilitation and treating medically compromised patients. He then joined a large private practice in Wellington City where he worked for 2 years. He gained extra skills in IV conscious sedation to help anxious patients have dental treatment.

Simon and his family moved to Kerikeri in 2008 to enjoy the winterless north and a more relaxed lifestyle. A senior partner at KDC, Simon is always striving to provide patients with a memorable comfortable experience, knowledgable advice and expert dental care. An ongoing commitment to continuing education and the many hours he invests in advanced training ensures that his patients receive the best possible and most evidence based treatment available. Simon has been instrumental in bringing new technologies to the practise – Cerec technology – where we can repair and restore your tooth with the best tooth coloured material in one visit.

andrew_webAndrew McNaughton BDS

Andrew graduated from Otago University with a Dental Degree in 1984, and joined a private practice in Masterton before spending 8 years in a group practice on the Kapiti Coast near Wellington. Given the rural nature of the clinic, Andrew was required to become highly skilled in a wide array of procedures and ever-changing patient needs. While on holiday in Northland in 1992, Andrew and his family discovered Kerikeri and fell in love with the area. They made a decision to return and live here, and three years later in 1995 Andrew became a senior partner in Kerikeri Dental Centre.

Andrew's Bahai faith is central to his life and practice. Together with his wife and four children, he is actively involved in International Taekwon-Do, sailing & water activities, an organic sustainable lifestyle that includes straw-bail housing, and numerous community activities... He is a Member of the International Assoc. of Orthodontics (IAO), the New Zealand Dentists Orthodontic Society (NZDOS), and founding member of INVISALIGN in NZ – being the first to introduce the system to Northland.
